New Updates & Glitches!

Hello my little comets! Sorry for the extreme lack of inactivity again, the good news? I'll probably start posting a little bit more daily soon...ish. Anyways, we've stumbled across yet another interesting update, which I can't wait to start typing about!

First off, the Denstravaganza:

Hmm, that's pretty interesting. I'll probably buy a Cosmo Den now, since it's only half gems! Thank you for the sale, AJ. By 'Denstravaganza,' I think Animal Jam actually means: "Dens, dens, dens everywhere!" Haha. x3

Moving on to the next page:

Since I don't really play the Adventures that often, (I only have about one animal that has even 1 level), this page doesn't really apply to me. The icon looks a little cute, though. Sometimes I think phantoms actually sort of cute, even if they're supposed to be our enemies. :3

Here's also some more interesting things:

Hmm, birds and birds galore.

Anyways, let's move on to the interesting news: The new animal. As I was reading this, I thought it was kind of fishy that all of the capital letters were arranged that way, and then that's when I realized it: It's an acronym! As you read downwards, the letters spell "EAGLES," which means that we're getting eagles! Hopefully they aren't in the Diamond Shop. :)

And the final page:

Yay! I love the Friendship Parties. They always look really pretty and fun, merp. I also like the new icons that are shown on the World Map, they look really adorable. It's still a little weird because it feels like this odd tab in the lines of your peripheral vision, but still, neat!

Moving on to the cool, interesting glitches that I found (which are a lot, brace yourself):

So, my computer was really lagging, and I just went to my den to help with the lag...and then a badge from a person stayed. How odd. I decided to take a picture of it because it looked so weird in my den. XD

Here is the next (not really a glitch but still interesting):

Ever since the new update, Animal Jam doesn't glitch a person's animals anymore! It's very nice that they don't glitch like they used to, because it always looked weird to me when everyone's animals had the same look for each and every animal... c;

I also saw a big line of 'founder bunnies' earlier. It was pretty funny. (And why is the back of my fox's head always shown in these screenshots? It's just awkward.)

Another weird thing that I saw...that was probably the oddest thing that I'd ever seen someone say. It's hilarious that that person just went around saying that, haha. So weird. People are so weird. x3

And, finally, something that isn't a glitch but still pretty cool:

What a cool ad! And a very cool drawing of Greely, too! Hehe. Some of the ads are pretty interesting, especially the art featured on them. ;)

For Kinyonga...

Dear Kinyonga,

I know that I don't know you that well...but I admire you. Deeply. I respect you. You did things that I'd never even thought about! You loved all animals big and small, and you loved all jammers, member or not. I'll never, EVER forget what you did and how you changed me. You had a different blog than others, you didn't just do a random blurb about the item and all that...you had real posts, real ideas, real thoughts.

Even if you're leaving, you'll never be forgotten, I promise you that. And I will never unbuddy you. Ever. You've changed me, and I'm pretty sure that you've changed lots of other people, too.

Before you quit, please reconsider. I understand, truly, I do. Animal Jam can be quite a pretty bad place. But it also can be a good place, and I admire how you've worked to show how good of a place it can be.

We love you, Kinyonga. Chameleons. <3

New Blog & Apologies

So sorry guys! I've been kind of inactive this whole weekend. Things are getting a bit busy. I'm not going to post the new item and whatnot, it's boring. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I made a new art blog! The blog will have commissions, graphics, art, and lots of other fun things. It's still sort of under construction, but it'll get better. I need to work on it a bit longer. :3

Also, to veer off a bit, my friends and I had a battle of whether pancakes or waffles were better. Other people started joining in, and it was absolutely hilarious! (It wasn't a real battle, of course, just a matter of whether pancakes or waffles were better.)

Just know this, my friends...pancakes are ALWAYS better. ;)

Hockey Sticks

Haillo Jammers! Sorry for not posting at all this week, school makes things really busy. I guess I just can't post during the week, but I can post on the weekends (or at least on Fridays). Anyways, I checked out the other blogs, and it doesn't look like there has been a lot of cool new items lately. .3.

Today's new item is:

Ugh, that's irritating. And not really that creative, either. Sort of disappointing. The other item, (that actually looked a bit interesting), was the Giant Snowy Paw Print:

That's actually a new item! Too bad it's member. And it's sort of based off of the snow angel, I guess. Oh well. It still looks sort of cool. This must be some Jamaasian version of 'Big Foot,' eh? Maybe it's like a giant wolf snowman. XD

Oh, and look at this weird mini glitch!

The arctic wolf is tiny compared to everyone else! That's so weird. And it looks really funny, too.

Moving onwards, I woke up super early today, and it gets a little awkward when you go to a land (in Aldan, the busiest server alive, I swear), and there's no one there. At all.

Poor Kimbara. Always left out. It's okay, Kimbara, I love you. *Pats*

And to wrap this post up, I noticed an amazing thing the other day on my blog:

2 readers at ONCE!? (I mean, yeah, one of the readers counts as me...) but still, that's pretty awesome! I've never had two readers read my blog at once. It makes me feel like my blog is actually starting to...I don't know, get noticed? Yippee! ^^

Snowboarding Helmet

Hallo Jammers! I am SO terribly sorry for this extremely late post. To make it up to y'all, I'll be making it extra long with some extra stuff that I noticed, so it'll at least be more interesting than the stream of posts I've been making recently.

Anyways, the new item for today is:

Hmm, a Snowboarding Helmet. Not that interesting at all, and I doubt anyone will really use it.

Today I noticed a (pretty sad thing, actually):

Do you see that Arctic Wolf at the side, saying "I WILL NEVER SEE MY REAL PARENTS AGAIN!" and the others saying "Lol?" They were laughing at the wolf because of that. Guys...doing these things to someone you don't know, someone who might be hurting beyond the computer screen...it's pretty low. And today, for some reason, there were several people who were being rude to me (and to others.)

If you do these things to people...PLEASE don't. It's really mean. DX

Also, make way for a pretty cool, beta person!

This person, viperfang, is non-member, but yet is wearing member items! It's because they were around in the beta days, bought the gazelles, and it sort of...stuck on them. Isn't that cool? I've met a couple of people like that, as well. :3

Snow Boots

Haillo Jammers! Sorry for the extremely late post, I just got distracted by a lot of stuff this morning. Anyways, the new item for today is:

Hmm, Snowflake Boots! That's sort of cute, but I wish that we didn't have so many...humanized and modernized items. I think it would be way cooler if we did more Jamaasian-themed things. (That's why I really love the Adventure items, they're really awesome!)

Also, I had a wonderful conversation with a good friend of mine the other day:

We were discussing what the New Year's would bring, and he was hoping for nice, good Jammers, and new epic animals and items! Those are pretty awesome things! What are you guys hoping for during this New Year? :3

New Update! Mystery Feather

Hallo Jammers! Today is a new and interesting update, but first, let's cover the new item of the day! Thankfully it's actually not that bad compared to what we've been having recently:

An AJ Wristband! Coolio. It's pretty awesome that it's for non-members. I just wish it looked less...rubber-bandy-ish. It just reminds me too much of the tacky wristbands that I get sometimes...the ones that are just sort of cool but weird at the same time. XD

Moving on to the wonderful updates:

Pet owls are back in the Diamond Shop! Hmm, not sure why they're back, but I like them, so that's pretty cute. Honestly, the pet owls, reindeer, and hummingbirds are probably the only pets that I like. :3

Next page!

Snow Fort Dens are back! Wootwoot! It's still a little odd to have that return during the New Year's, eh? I guess I'm just stereotypical and enjoy automatically relating it to Christmas.

Wow, I'm not sure that AJ should've put the ice armor in stores...I mean, it's kind of unfair. Hm. I like the ice armor, don't get me wrong, but I sort of regret buying the wings and the gauntlets, because I was saving up for a snow leopard.

But whatever, it still looks cool (pardon the pun) in the Diamond Shop!

And besides, there's something else coming up that changed my mind:

Okay, *disregards the Play-As-Your-Pet Party thing* what is that feather for? Is it an eagle? Is it a pet? Is it an item? That's just so cool! I really hope we get a new eagle animal, I just LOVE birds! They're my favorite animals. :)

Snowman

Herro Jammers! Today the new item is:

A Snowman! Aww, it's so cute. It looks so happy, too, and it doesn't really stand out terribly, but it still looks nice. I wish we had those kind of hats that the snowman is wearing. I would totally buy one, and then I'd make myself look like a dorky fox in doing so! :3

Anyways, moving on, I noticed an odd glitch when I was buying an animal today:

See this? It looks normal, right? Well, I scrolled down and saw something odd:

Uh, why is the bunny in the exact same place as before? It was weird because I could see it in the background...it's hard to explain. And there's a shadow of where the scrollbar was before, like the frames are glitching with each other or something. XD

Weird. :3

Rare Spartan Helmet & Pixels

Haillo Jammers! I am so terribly sorry for the late post, but I was spending a couple of hours adjusting the blog up a bit, (and adding the lovely Fur Elise music to the background, if you don't like it, feel free to scroll down and pause it.) c:

Anyways, I like polka-dots, so I made polka dots...everywhere! I'm still not sure what I think about the banner, so I might change that a lot until I come up with something that I like. XD

Let's move onwards! The Rare Item Monday is:

Meh. Not really that interesting or cool, and the price is kind of a lot. I think it would be awesome if Animal Jam came up with NEW Rare Item Mondays every day! For example, they could make a Zios Mask or a Mira Helmet or something. That would be so awesome. XD

I'm sorry I can't stay for long, so I don't really have that much to say, however...

See this item?

It's wanted. By many. Now, let's say that I went on Photoshop and just zoomed in on the photo a bit. Now here's what it looks like:

Yeah, it still looks fine, right? It's just a little bit weird-looking. Now let's zoom in even closer:

Whoa, it's gotten pretty big. I can't even take a screenshot of the whole thing. Now how about even CLOSER, eh?

What is that? I can't even identify what that is anymore. It just looks like a mass of pixels. Oh, wait, that's what it is! Exactly. Pixels.

And look! I drew a face on it!

I drew it with the pencil tool, which was 1 px by 1 px. And guess what? I could keep on deleting the rest of the spike, or I could make it pink. I could manipulate it however I'd want it to, because it's just a bunch of pixels.

Now, I understand if some of you like the way pixels look, or appreciate the looks on your animals. (That's how I feel.) But it's more of a designing thing, right? It's not a life-or-death thing, nor does it determine anything. I appreciate Animal Jam and the designs, and I like how things look. But if Animal Jam didn't exist one day, I'd be okay. I could like...draw my own pixel-themed stuff about Animal Jam or something! XD

Yes, I know why Animal Jam is fun. Trading (can be) fun, and it's fun to be proud of the items that you've earned. But please remember that it's pixels. I'm proud of my pixels, too, but I'd always choose my friends. And no, it's not like 'I would choose my friends by sending all of my rares to them.' If you send your rares to a friend, it doesn't really show how much you value them, since rares aren't as important as you think they are. It's hard to explain, but there are different ways to show a friend how much you care about them.

Maybe I'll touch up on this for the next Words w/ Comet when I have time. :3

Ice Prison

Haillo my little comets! The new item for today is:

An Ice Prison? Uh, is that supposed to be for the phantoms or something? I must admit, that is a little odd to have in a children's game. Maybe it's existence is only for the purpose of role-playing. x3

Me: Save me! Save me! I'm stuck in a terrible ice prison, and I can't get out!
Other person: Uh, do you have brains? Just wear phoenix armor and melt the ice. :P
Me: No, no, this is unlike any other prison! This is an ICE prison!
Other person: ...
Me: Save me!
Other person: I don't think I should bother. :|

Haha, it was sort of fun writing that. XD

Anyways, yesterday I was strolling around Jamaa when I saw a non-member Arctic Wolf! Right in front of my eyes!

Their user was emmaharveystrider123. You don't see non-member Arctic Wolves every day, eh? I wonder if there is a new glitch or something. If there is, my fingers are crossed that it stays until my membership expires! c:

There was also another person who had a glitched lasso on their trade! It was a deep, raspberry color, which actually isn't part of the natural lasso colors! Isn't that odd?

As you can see, they have a raspberry lasso! I couldn't get a picture of the lasso on trade, I'm sorry, the person left before I could investigate further. That's really cool, though. I wonder how it got glitched...

And, last but not least, I wanted to give a Jammer Shout-Out to:

Misstess! Misstess is a super cool and kind jammer. She is very giving and mature, and she always puts her buddies above herself. She knows how to handle tough situations and lend a helping paw to those in need. She also has the best morals, and she vows to stop scamming! I'm glad to be her buddy. :)
