New Update & Spring!

Hello my little comets! I could just do about a crazy happy-happy dance. Pet seahorses are now available for ALL JAMMERS!? Yes! That's seriously the best thing that I've heard all week. It's interesting how Animal Jam is letting more non-members have more rights underwater, (underwater den, underwater den items, underwater pets), but not as many rights on land...hmm... *Strokes beard*

Anyways, that's really awesome news! Hehe. c:

And I just realized that the birthday party is already going to be tomorrow. It's sort of scary, I'm worried that I'm going to mess up or something, (since I tend to do that), which is a complete fail. :P

Next bit of information:

Yay, new shop! And the items look really sparkly and awesome, too. (Not that I've owned any yet, but I saw Lemo's den and it looks amazing.)

SPRING IS HERE!

(And so is a new blog!) In celebration of the loveliness of spring and the beautiful art in Jamaa that comes with it, I've decided to make another blog called 'Jamaa's Spring Sweetness,' and you can visit it here: http://thesweetnessofspringinjamaa.blogspot.com

Basically the blog is only open during Spring, when Jamaa blooms. In the blog I'll probably post screenshots of Jamaa's beautiful spring layout, and write poetry about spring and what spring means to me. c:

Eagles & Updates!

Hello Jammers! Today I have some good news:

I managed to get on Animal Jam, which is amazing. Unfortunately, the bad news is that the only reason I can get onto Animal Jam is because I am at a different location; so that means that I still can't log-in at home. Hopefully the problem resolves itself!

Next piece of information:

Eagles are here! They look pawsome. (Of course they're in the Diamond Shop and that I don't even have enough money to buy one anyway.)

There is also a new game called "Swoopy Eagle." You know what the hilarious part of this is? The fact that it's very similar to an app called 'Flappy Bird,' a game that was a complete hit in Apple Stores and became famous in a week! However, the game was so hard that many people complained to the person who had programmed it, and he got so much hate that he eventually took the game down.

It's pretty funny how Animal Jam mimicked that app... :3

There are also some new items in the Diamond Shop:

It's a little sad that the dragon glove was brought back, I had been collecting those. Oh well. I'm pretty sure that Animal Jam is going to bring back the rest of the gloves as well; such as lava gloves, mummy gloves, etc. x3

And the remaining clouds were also brought back. Interesting. (Actually, I think those clouds are way prettier than the other ones, just my personal opinion though!)

I also have some other things that I want to nitpick out of the Jamaa Journal:

So, AJHQ has noticed out complaints about the chat system. At least they've acknowledged that they've noticed, that's nice! Sadly they didn't really change anything, but I could understand why they would eliminate some symbols...not all, though. There isn't really a need to eliminate ALL of the symbols. XD

Also, look at this!

Yay! AJHQ is using puns, too! It's a COOL item, and it's a snow cloud! Hahaha. I must laugh at that, I must, even if Animal Jam probably didn't even mean to be punny. :P

Rant about Updates...

Hello Jammers! Thank you very much for your support and your advice on how I should post. I've decided to post funny pictures, interesting observations, Words w/ Comet, and rants about important and interesting updates. This way I can compromise with you guys! :3

Anyways, I need to talk to you guys about the new update:

First off, this first page update? Amazing. The fact that Animal Jam is trying to give more rights to non-members is absolutely amazing! And I am so happy that now non-members get to own two dens. :D

(Not to mention that Animal Jam released about three non-member items that day, heurheur.) c:

Next page; this is also pretty cool! As I mentioned earlier, the non-member den items are a very nice touch, and the new 'Welcome to Jamaa' experience is positively awesome.

It's an amazing new rendition to the game, and I'm pretty sure that many Jammers would love it! I wish that I could've seen the land moving as well, but that's okay. 'The Blue Heron,' (I know that many blogs have noted this, but I'll note it as well) sounds like Mira, eh? The boat even looks like Mira. That also makes me very pleased with this update as well. ^.^

Next page in the Journal:

Wow, guys, can you believe that Valentine's Day is coming up? Didn't that speed by really fast? That's how I feel, anyways. The new items are pretty awesome, too, along with the new printable Valentines. Very creative, AJ!

Yep, eagles are coming. Nothing much to say there, except for the fact that I'm extremely excited. (Birds are my favorite animals, you know, that's why I love the Birds of Paradise Party!) :3

And, finally, a page about the newly-made "AJ Academy." That is also a very nice touch to help other Jammers learn and do fun activities. c:

Now, let's get to the bad part about the update.

The chatting. What happened, AJ? Why did you make it nearly impossible to chat? Sure, there are some chances where I can make a face after the period, (I don't know how, but it only happens sometimes):

And I can actually enter that and show it! Isn't that odd? But it only works for that particular sentence and face, I think. 

Some faces still work, such as: :3, x3, :), c:, :c, o3o, XD, :P, :D, :OO, :I. Other faces require an extreme amount of back-spacing, (a tip given to me from RockyTop2), O.O

Animal Jam, this new chatting system makes no sense at all. And it's pretty irritating that I can't type arrows either, which means a.) No hearts, b.) No arrows pointing to someone if I'm talking to a big crowd. That's going to be really hard.

Plus, silly faces can't be made anymore. The ones that require lots of spaces? Probably they aren't able to be typed anymore, and that's a complete bummer.

*Sigh,* oh well, I guess there's no helping it. That's probably about it for my rants today, I'll make a 'What to do when you're bored' post about AJ next weekend! (It's already in the making, hehe.) c;

New Updates & Glitches!

Hello my little comets! Sorry for the extreme lack of inactivity again, the good news? I'll probably start posting a little bit more daily soon...ish. Anyways, we've stumbled across yet another interesting update, which I can't wait to start typing about!

First off, the Denstravaganza:

Hmm, that's pretty interesting. I'll probably buy a Cosmo Den now, since it's only half gems! Thank you for the sale, AJ. By 'Denstravaganza,' I think Animal Jam actually means: "Dens, dens, dens everywhere!" Haha. x3

Moving on to the next page:

Since I don't really play the Adventures that often, (I only have about one animal that has even 1 level), this page doesn't really apply to me. The icon looks a little cute, though. Sometimes I think phantoms actually sort of cute, even if they're supposed to be our enemies. :3

Here's also some more interesting things:

Hmm, birds and birds galore.

Anyways, let's move on to the interesting news: The new animal. As I was reading this, I thought it was kind of fishy that all of the capital letters were arranged that way, and then that's when I realized it: It's an acronym! As you read downwards, the letters spell "EAGLES," which means that we're getting eagles! Hopefully they aren't in the Diamond Shop. :)

And the final page:

Yay! I love the Friendship Parties. They always look really pretty and fun, merp. I also like the new icons that are shown on the World Map, they look really adorable. It's still a little weird because it feels like this odd tab in the lines of your peripheral vision, but still, neat!

Moving on to the cool, interesting glitches that I found (which are a lot, brace yourself):

So, my computer was really lagging, and I just went to my den to help with the lag...and then a badge from a person stayed. How odd. I decided to take a picture of it because it looked so weird in my den. XD

Here is the next (not really a glitch but still interesting):

Ever since the new update, Animal Jam doesn't glitch a person's animals anymore! It's very nice that they don't glitch like they used to, because it always looked weird to me when everyone's animals had the same look for each and every animal... c;

I also saw a big line of 'founder bunnies' earlier. It was pretty funny. (And why is the back of my fox's head always shown in these screenshots? It's just awkward.)

Another weird thing that I saw...that was probably the oddest thing that I'd ever seen someone say. It's hilarious that that person just went around saying that, haha. So weird. People are so weird. x3

And, finally, something that isn't a glitch but still pretty cool:

What a cool ad! And a very cool drawing of Greely, too! Hehe. Some of the ads are pretty interesting, especially the art featured on them. ;)
